What Can’t Go in My Dumpster?
We accept a variety of material in our San Diego dumpster rentals, but flammable, toxic or hazardous waste is prohibited at the landfill. Below is a list of alternative ways to dispose of what we can’t accept.

San Diego residents can safely dispose of harmful items like fuels, paint, pesticides and household chemicals at the City’s HHW Transfer Facility at the Miramar Landfill on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Appliances are banned from landfill disposal in California. The Miramar Recycling Facility accepts large household appliances for a fee of $12 each and appliances containing refrigerants (refrigerators, air conditioners etc.) for a fee of $25 each.
