What Can’t Go in My Dumpster?
We can take plenty of debris in our roll off and front load dumpsters, but there are some prohibited itemsthat aren’t accepted at area landfills. This includes anything hazardous, toxic or flammable. We’ve researched a few local options if you need to dispose of these materials.
Hazardous Waste Disposal in Amarillo
Household hazardous waste like fuels, oils, automotive fluids and paint is not accepted in dumpsters or curbside trash collection. Instead, make an appointment with the City of Amarillo’s Household Hazardous Waste Program. Note: the program is not open to businesses. Individual items must not be more than 5 gallons.
