SOUPer Bowl Sunday With the Greater Cleveland Food Bank

There’s no better way to celebrate the big game than with a party.

The Dumpsters.com team celebrated Super Bowl LI at Old City Libations on February 6th to benefit the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. The appropriately named SOUPer Bowl Sunday  party featured a 50/50 raffle, football squares, a chance raffle and, of course, plenty of drinks and food to go around.

“SOUPer Bowl Sunday was an opportunity to raise much needed funds for the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. In one fun-filled night, we raised enough money to provide 26,800 meals!”

Ann Weinzimmer | Greater Cleveland Food Bank

In Northeast Ohio, one in six people are food insecure, and the Greater Cleveland Food Bank works tirelessly to try and bridge that gap. As the largest hunger relief organization in the area, they provided more than 50 million meals in 2016 alone.

We take an active role in supporting community organizations, especially when there is one right in our backyard. Lending a helping hand to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank is a direct line to help those in need. “Being involved in the communities we serve is a key component to our success,” said Michael Sancin, VP of Marketing. “We’re also big believers in the Greater Cleveland Food Bank and are grateful to have played a small part in their event.”

Bettering the Communities We Serve

We are always looking for events, nonprofits, organizations and festivals to support, especially when their work is centered on revitalizing and improving their neighborhood.

If you would like to support the Greater Cleveland Food Bank and help them achieve their goals for 2017, please consider donating to or volunteering at one of their upcoming events.
