St. Edward High School Trash Talkers Announce 2018 Sponsorship

Locally Grown Dumpsters.com Supports High School Percussion Club

Lakewood, Ohio –  February 9, 2018- The St. Edward High School Trash Talkers are excited to announce that Dumpsters.com has become the group’s title sponsor for the 2018 season.

Founded by two St. Ed’s Alumni, John Fenn (Class of ’97) and Mark Campbell (Class of ’98), Dumpsters.com matches homeowners, contractors and businesses with quality dumpster rental services. Located in Westlake, Ohio, Dumpsters.com and its parent organization employ more than 100 individuals including St. Ed's Alumni Chief Financial Officer Eamon Larkin (Class of '01) and Chief Marketing Officer Dominic Litten (Class of '99).

“We’re so proud to support the Trash Talkers and their community performances. We love being able to give back to the school and community we have a deep connection with through such a fun, artistic program,” said John Fenn, Dumpsters.com founder and CEO.

Inspired by the likes of Stomp and The Blue Man Group, the St. Edward Trash Talkers use "off the shelf" garbage cans and buckets to create a unique sound unlike anything you've heard before. Their use of these different "instruments", demonstrates the creativity and musicianship that lives in the minds of our youth. With their distinct sound and appeal, the Trash Talkers tour area schools, festivals and sporting events, inspiring onlookers into uncontrollable foot tapping and rhythmic head bobbing.

The support of Dumpsters.com enhances the student experience, allowing members of the Trash Talkers to extend their artistic influence to more venues and spread the spirit of percussion and creativity into the minds, hearts and ears of many in the community.

Made up entirely of St. Edward’s students, The Trash Talkers have performed at numerous events throughout the community including:

  • Cleveland Cavaliers' games
  • Cleveland St. Patrick's Day Parade
  • Great Lakes Brewery's Burning River Festival
  • City events and festivals
  • St. Edward sporting events
  • Catholic Schools Week Events
